Executive Suite is a Philadelphia quartet with deep Philly roots as members Vincent Unto, Henry Tuten, William Tyler, and Charles Conyers were part of various recording entities in Philadelphia before forming the band in 1970. Unto and Tyler previously sang with the The Millionaires (23) on Castle Records; Tyler also sang with the Jewels, and Conyers with the Lovenotes. Their first single out of the gate on Jubilee records was "Christine/Mother Nature" notable due to the participation of a young Daryl Hall who co-wrote the song and contributed background vocals. Produced by Hall, John Madara and Len Barry, the song did not chart. You can listen to it here https://youtu.be/_jMcfv0r_uA . In 1972 they moved over to Babylon Records which used Sigma Sound Studios facilities. This put the group in touch with old friends Bunny Sigler, Bobby Eli, Norman Harris, and Phil Hurtt who decided to give them a shot. The studio was flush with radio hits that established the sound of Philadelphia and the producers gave the band the royal treatment, with their first single being the lushly produced "I'm A Winner Now" which became a local hit that same year. It was followed by "You Believed In Me", "Your Love Is Paradise/I'm Leaving This Time" and finally "When The Fuel Runs Out" a disco-ish Philly style tune produced by Baker, Harris & Young, the Big Three Music trio, was put out in 1974. By this time Polydor records put together a highly collectible LP of those hits into "Executive Suite 1", which was five songs including the vocal and instrumental versions of "When The Fuel Runs Out", "You Got It" Parts 1 & 2, "You Believed In Me" Parts 1 & 2, "Your Love Is Paradise" and "I'm A Winner Now" although they made up seven separate tracks. The group suffered from indifferent promotion and by the time they released "Hey Pearl" in 1975 for United Artists without the backing of Sigma Sound Studios, the song did not chart.
