Expander is known for following a path that strives away from dominating standards and for constantly seeking new approaches to electronic music, especially in what regards to techno. Considered the main reference for the underground scene in Portugal, Expander is able to move the most demanding crowd, combining technique with his very own style of djing which is normally uplifting, sexy and involving and where people normally feel that they are travelling through music. In 2005 he founded his own label: SONICULTURE
