Album UK 2012 on Expandisongs label
Electronic (Synth-pop, Ambient)
First released in 1983 on cassette and sold at gigs. Around 1985 the master tapes were lost. Remastered and rereleased digitally in 2012. Although this album was written and performed entirely by Phil Thornton, it was released under the Expandis name to avoid confusion with another Phil Thornton's solo album of the same name. Very much in the same style as Expandis, this album features a mix of songs, instrumentals and synthesizer workouts. The instruments used on this album included the usual 'Expandis' synthesizers plus a hired Sequential Circuits Prophet 5 and a borrowed Multimoog and Hohner Clavinet. Tracks 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 were inspired by the 'Cities in Flight' stories by James Blish.
