A.k.a. Łukasz Rybski
One of the founding fathers of „Sonic Trip”, a team based out of Lodz, that promoted drum&bass in Poland. He is Djing steady since 1998. He performed more than 600 times at parties and major music events both in Poland and abroad. He realeased the first polish drum n bass vinyl recording in 2000. Beside that he participated in creating compilations that appeared as CDs. Two of them “RE:MIX” and “1st Selection of Made In Poland” – a collection of tunes by young polish producers. His music could be heard on many compilations including: Beach Bols, The House Night, X-Cite as well as on promo CDs by Laif magazine, Kolastyna or a promo for Sony Music – remix of Kasia Klich “Nic nie robić”. In 2003 inspired by his new found love of breakbeat music he started composing music in addition to playing and promoting it. After many years of collaboration under the Sonic Trip name, ExWookie, along with Infinity started a separate project – Tanksquad. Cooperation resulted in the birth of a few new tunes. He was the first in Poland to purchase a Dubplate Cutter – a machine to cut and create vinyl recordings. His experience was put to good use as he organized five editions of “Made In Poland” – a Poland-wide competition, aimed at discovering and promoting young emerging producers of electronic music scene. Since 2005 he is organizing the Boat-City Festiwal, directed towards promoting the electronic music in the center of Poland. A breakthrough as well as a next step for ExWookie, came with the creation of Audio Dealers project, which he started together with Lollie Dill. They compose and perform breakbeat as well as electro pop. Audio Dealers Records label was started along with the Audio Dealers Project. Chris Starkilla aka Wonter, N.Kick and Blaze are affiliated with the label. Audio Dealers are cooperating closely with “Robak Studio” where they record their material.
