Following up from the success of Ez's first release on the label 'Evil Lurks' which was recommended by MixMag as the hottest underground club track in October, Ez has gone all out on his first EP, with live instruments from double bass to strings and live drum breaks from The Octopus. Ez Icarus gently eases in with London Lights a powerful punchy Swing inspired bouncy breaks banger, with horns to make the vuvuzela hide in shame, soulful vocals and a rich warm double bass driven bongo beat. B. Omegaman flexes his musical mastery on the London Lights Remix bringing a relaxed half time chilled vibe and a beautifully wide warm rich lounge sound to the EP. C. Ez Icarus doesn't mess around with Get Funky its a high energy big sound stage production, upping the tempo and pushing the breaks on an epic journey with huge vocals tearing through to sweeten the unashamedly authentic dynamic beats. D. Dirty Dubsters bring a rich full fat Get Funky Remix full of energy and breaking fun with a down and dirty bass line and sweet rift. A 100% DJ set stormer with cheeky samples every crowd will appreciate. E. Ez Icarus rolls out the fresh to death broken beat Free with a certified delicious vocal and big bouncing bass, the funky key breaks accompanying a funk guitar rift and the maximum energy live drum break courtesy of Ez Icarus's partner in crime The Octopus. F. Makes You Wonder takes you by surprise, an orchestral string intro gets hijacked by Ez Icarus unmistakable breaks intensity, with a flute toying with a big round booming bass and a track that pulls you along for the ride sure to put a smile on your face.
