Faces on Film is the project of Boston songwriter and guitarist, Mike Fiore. Featuring Fiore's hauntingly beautiful vocals and eerily poetic lyrics, the band's unique blend of woodsy folk, pastoral indie rock, rootsy Americana, and old-timey country and western has garnered comparisons to such artists as My Morning Jacket, The Annuals, and Modest Mouse. Whether performing solo or with a full band, Faces on Film's music, as Melophobe.com points out, has proven to be "some of the most emotionally powerful Boston has to offer."
