Fanatics

Electronic

Fanatics- Officially joining forces at the beginning of 2013, Alex and Joe combine over 10 year’s experience performing in the growing Australian Hardstyle scene. In that time they have witnessed the scene go from underground raves in abandoned warehouses to large scale club events and festivals. In the recent year these two have been working as Fanatics, they have managed to create their own unique style with regards to their music production, live performances and developed close connection with their fans. Their first recognized collaboration was the 2012 official anthem for District 7 music festival entitled ‘You Are Not Alone’, it was the first major label release for the duo, and was followed closely by ‘I Can’t Stop’. Moving forward into 2013 other productions from Fanatics include ‘Open Your Mind’ and ‘The Danger’ which samples famous words from the TV series ‘Breaking Bad’. More recently tracks like ‘Cocaine Capital’, a hard hitting track about Columbia’s biggest export and ‘These Streets’ a harder edged track with gangster rap style vocal hook. Their music always aims to deliver something hard and true to its style, melodic and memorable whilst often including messages to inspire the listener with themes surrounding the feelings and thoughts induced by music itself. Fanatics have received a great deal of support both in Australia and by artists overseas. Their tracks often feature on Q-Dance radio and in fellow artists’ sets. Testament to the fact that they have had such great success in only their first year as a duo, Fanatics have had the opportunity to bring their style to the world stage, playing on UV stage at Defqon 1 in The Netherlands to a packed tent of thousands of party goers, supporting many of the biggest names in Hardstyle. Without doubt this would have to be one of the major highlights for the duo in a year of many milestones, only equaled by them returning home from the Netherlands to perform on the Blue stage at Defqon 1 Australia in front of their home crowd. The exposure of playing overseas has seen Fanatics in greater demand in their home country, and has enabled them to travel across Australia, performing in Australia’s prominent cities. When asked what separates their performance style from others, the answer is simple: “We will always bring the most amount energy to a performance as we can. Whether we are performing on the biggest stages at festivals or the smaller clubs stages we will always give it our all. We want to inspire the crowd and drive them into a frenzy. If the crowd hasn’t had their most enjoyable hour all night then we just haven’t succeeded!” These are the DJ’s that live and breathe every aspect of Hardstyle, they live for it and they will no doubt die for it. It is evident when they perform that this is who they are, this is what they do. And in every action they deliver an unstoppable show! Fanatics as mentioned previously hold a tight relationship with their fan base, They believe they we are all lovers of music and we are all fanatics at heart. Regularly their fans can be seen wearing their distinct Fanatics T-shirts, singlets and shorts to events to show their support, and their army is growing each day! As Fantics look to the future, they do so with big plans in the works and greater achievements on the horizon. As their unique sound spreads expect to see the Fanatics on bigger stages and in more places as their future unfolds! Look out for more releases from this unstoppable Australian Hardstyle act!
