Band,
Singer / Musician of Alternative
Fang Fang formed in Philadelphia Pennsylvania in 2005. Headed by Tom Manns (former member of Philly punk band One-21) on guitar and vocals. Since 2005 Fang Fang has performed regularly in Philadelphia and surrounding areas, appearing mostly at small bar venues. Both guitarist, Jon Weldon and drummer, Greg Lytle eventually left the band to pursue firefighting and art, respectively. Fang Fang added Chris Lyons and Joey Ryan to fill the resulting gaps in the line-up, and in 2010 brought on ex One-21 singer Kenny Klein to play percussion and rhythm guitar. In 2012 Joey Ryan left Fang Fang and was replaced by Sara Klein and Marina Manns, the wives of Kenny Klein and Tom Manns. Fang Fangs first recording, a six song demo cd was released in the summer of 2005. At the end of 2007 Fang Fang released it’s first full length cd, self titled "Fang Fang", and did a short tour in January of 2008 to promote the album. Fang Fang’s second full length album "Mother" was released in November 2011. Followed by "For Fans of Fang Fang" in October 2015. "For Fans of Fang Fang" continues to follow Fang Fangs pattern of quirky but catchy writing set to punk influenced rock music.
