Farmakon is a Finnish progressive death metal band formed in 2001. The band is currently made up of guitarist/vocalist Toni Salminen, vocalist Marko Eskola, and bassist Pekka Kauppila. They have released two studio albums. The band uses both clean and growling vocals, as well as incorporating jazz and funk elements into their music.Their debut album, A Warm Glimpse, was released in 2003, and the opening track, "Loosely of Ameobas" was included on Earache's "Metal: A Headbanger's Companion II" compilation.
