Band, *1987 GB, Nottingham
Rock and Pop
Indie pop band formed in the late eighties in Peterborough, by Mark Randall with vocalist Sarah C. After the release of their first flexi disc EP "You Opened Up My Eyes", Sarah C left the band. After Sarah's departure Mark recruited vocalist Katie Keen, bassist Paul Huckerby, guitarist Sheggi Clarkson and drummer Matt Johnson. In 1990 Mark and Matthew formed Heaven Records (3) to release their debut 7" single "Where's Clare Grogan Now", a homage to the Altered Images vocalist. After this release Katie left the band and Sheggi took on the role of vocalist. After a few more releases the were signed by London's Vinyl Japan. Their first release for the label was the "Nostalgia EP". The bands debut album "Starfish" was released in 1994 and followed by a further two singles before they disbanded.
