Michael Paul Brooks aka Fatty B is an American rapper from Anaheim California, born on September 11th 1982. He is originally a member of Centa Cercle and also the hip hop collective known as the Parallel Crew, he is also one half of the Brooks Bros alongside his brother James Brooks aka Double J. He is best known for his powerful delivery and fast lyrical word play. He played an important role in the early Orange County hip hop scene beginning in the early 90’s, and was very influential amongst his peers. He has been categorized as one of the most talented rappers to come out of the Orange County area in which was known to be overshadowed by its Los Angeles cousin. Fatty B’s first recordings date back to 1994 on very early freestyle tapes that were recorded in his garage with his brother and other members of Centa Cercle. His first official release was in 1999 with Parallel Crew. Fatty B continues to make music and currently resides in Long Beach California.
