Founded about 1994 in Krems (Austria). 1997 the band renamed to "Faust a.d.D." (an der Donau) to distinguish itself from other bands of the same name. The debut album from 1995 was reissued 1997 under the new name, with a new cover and extended by 2 live tracks. A second regular album was almost completed in the late 90s but never published. Around 2000 they disbanded. Parts of the group then formed "Woidfisch" (also "Woidfish"). This follow-up band released an album in 2002. Since 2006 Alex Miksch publishes solo-albums (often featuring some of his former band-members).
