For what started in 2005 as an exercise in minimalism has now turned into a musical meditation on purity and subdued power. In the course of the last years, the guitar has turned from a clearly distinguishable instrument into a shamanic tool for trance. There were moments of all-encompassing calmness and tranquility on debut "He spoke in dead tongues", thirty-minute long aural fields, made up of loose rags of undulating tonal particles, held together by the tiniest of motives and evolving in minuscule motion. But for the future, Fear Falls Burning has allowed his project to lift off the ground entirely : the combination with percussive elements and an expansive array of studio tools and instruments made his music more unique and apart from the expansive drone subculture. Having his roots in drone music since 1984, with Vidna Obmana and other related projects, the experience delivers the listener music that is by turns meditative, rhythmic and thunderous. A voice that is distinctively his own - a living organism that continues to grow, evolve and expand. Fear Falls Burning was ended in 2012.
