Alternative and Rock
Fear of God (often abbreviated to F.O.G.) were a Swiss grindcore band who were active in the mid-1980s. They started in 1986 and broke up in 1988, but briefly reformed in the middle of 2002. Their first release was a self-titled, 21-track 7-inch EP, released in 1987. It was one of the first grindcore releases, and was very extreme for its time. Their most well-known and acclaimed work is the Pneumatic Slaughter EP.
