Felipe Torres is a Columbian-born American drummer, educator, composer, and vocalist based in New Jersey. His professional status began when he was part of the Drummer's Collective in New York City. By age 21, he was performing and touring with major artists, in genres including blues, classic rock, metal, pop, progressive rock, punk, and world music. He was the last drummer to tour behind David Cassidy, and he toured with The Monkees for their successful 2011 reunion tour of the UK and US. Torres also toured and recorded extensively with Davy Jones (Monkees). Other artists Torres has performed or recorded with include Carmine Appice's Slamm!, Johnny J. Blair "Singer at Large," Chubby Checker, Poppa Chubby, The Gong Show Off Broadway, In Musth, Reagan Youth, and others. Torres is also the subject of the 2011 documentary DRUMMER: THAT'S MY DAY JOB.
