Album UK 1963 on Fidelio label
Classical
Sep 15, 2018: The copy used for this revision differs from the earlier release history in the following respects: - The label on each side states "Recording First Published 1962" vs. 1963 provided as the release date in earlier submissions. - The "Printed By", "Copyright (c)" and "Manufactured By" information provided in earlier submissions is nowhere to be found. While this label clearly released legitimate recordings, the release covered by this submission is probably one of those referenced in the following quote from an article in the September 17, 2007 issue of The New Yorker: "During the nineteen-fifties and sixties, a number of record companies in England and America had a practice questionable but nodded and winked at—of repackaging LPs by established artists as the work of fictitious performers and selling the recordings at a deep discount." Letter from England, by Mark Singer.
