Flea used to be the dog of Windy & Carl. He was the main reason they released newly recorded music again after their 4 year hiatus after their 2001 album "Consciousness". He passed away during that time, so Windy & Carl recorded two instrumentals, one of which used field recordings of Flea walking with them and panting. He was also partially responsible for them naming their own record label Blue Flea.
