16-piece group led by Sam Shepherd, also known as Floating Points. Well known as an electronic producer since the beginning of his career, he is also classically trained so he writes, compose and arrange for the band. Floating Points Ensemble won at Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide Awards in 2010 for the 'Best BBC Radio 1 Maida Vale Session’. Their debut 10" release Post Suite / Almost In Profile was recorded at Abbey Road Studios for Ninja Tune XX anniversary celebration.
