Floyd O'Brien (born May 7, 1904, Chicago, Illinois, USA - died November 26, 1968, Chicago, Illinois, USA) was an American jazz trombonist. He worked with many bands including: Earl Fuller (1920's), Floyd Town (1920's), Charles Pierce (1920's), Thelma Terry (1920's), Husk O'Hare (1920's), Mal Hallett, Joe Venuti, Smith Ballew, Eddie Condon (1933), Fats Waller (1930's), Mezz Mezzrow (1930's), Mike Durso (1933-’34), Phil Harris (1935-’39), Gene Krupa (1939-’40), Bunk Johnson (1940's), Shorty Sherock (1940's), Jack Teagarden (1940's), Wingy Manone (1940's), George Wettling (1940's), Bud Freeman (1950's), Art Hodes (1950's), Danny Alvin (1950s) and others. Recorded as a leader once in 1945.
