Band,
Jazz, Folk and World
Folk Reverse is a project contemplated by Anatol Stefanet, Dan Bruma and Oleg Baltaga. This project is a charming fusion between jazz band and chamber music ensemble with folk band. This trio explores folkloric gestures, jazz swing feeling, free-wheeling improvisation and neoclassical sounds. Sometimes thoughtful, sometimes cheerful, sometimes ecstatic, they unfold a wide spectrum of moods and colors, thus acting like an orchestra en miniature. Anatol Ștefaneț, Dan Bruma and Oleg Baltaga, being lyrical and very melodic, they try to renovate this kind of intimate conversation, helping themselves with electronic extensions and a loop-machine. Folk Reverse propose an original music, giving us “new bridges between jazz and folklore”, free improvisation and neoclassical writing. We see much melancholy and elegance in this musical universe that speaks both to the soul as well as to the intellect.
