A.k.a. John Folkes, Mico Folkes, Junior Folkes
The Folkes Brothers were a Jamaican mento group. In 1960 Prince Buster produced and recorded their first tune "Oh Carolina" which is regarded as a landmark in the history of ska and reggae music. "Oh Carolina" has been covered by Shaggy in 1993 making him a international reggae star.
