Ford A. Thaxton

Ford Thaxton was born in a shed behind the family farmhouse in 1948. The birth was unexpected and went unnoticed for several months until food began disappearing from the kitchen pantry. Named after the family auto, young Ford soon began appearing in local vaudeville shows around town. Billed as The Human Model T, the boy specialized in impersonating train whistles and car horns.
