Band,
Rock, Electronic and Jazz
Forever Einstein is a three piece band playing original instrumental music that incorporates a truly broad range of influences. Many bands are described as being "eclectic" and, let's face it, the term is often a stretch. Here is what a typical hour of Einstein sounds like: some surf rock influenced stuff, bits of King Crimson style prog rock, a few scattered heavy metal solos, suggestions of country guitar, a few middle eastern or Balkan scales, something moody in 5/4, something frantic in 7/8, sonic references to spy music, sci-fi movie soundtracks and flat out jazz and more BUT the central core of Einstein is a dedication to the song form (verse/chorus) and reliance on melody, harmony and polyrhythms. We're not a 'jam' band or a prog rock band. This is what we tell people at cocktail parties and art gallery openings when they ask what the band sounds like.
