Ape to Pig (2015-2017), 57’27’’, for 258 native born french sound bodies, voice and text-video What does it mean to be a french composer? To be a composer? To be french? To be? What? Du Singe au Porc was composed, written and recorded by Frédéric Acquaviva at EMS, Stockholm in November-December 2015. Thanks to Mats Lindström. It was premiered in Wavelenght (curated by William English), on Resonance FM, London, on November 25, 2016. Ape to Pig was first screened where it was shot, at La Plaque Tournante, Sonnenallee 99, 12045 Berlin on February 25, 2017 on the occasion of the finissage of the exhibition Frédéric Acquaviva, Music & Multiples, Multiple Musics. It was diffused in octophony at Ourcq Blanc, Paris, Festival Supermarket of Sounds, on June 8, 2017.
