French pianist, based in Paris. Frédéric Boivin is music teacher in Paris elementary schools since 1990. From 2002 to 2011, he was the head of the Centre De Ressources Musicales. Besides his teaching activities, he played piano for musicals ("West Side Story" in 1995, "Les Misérables" from Emmanuel Touchard in 1998 to 2002), in the 'Locomotive Swing Big Band' of Chennevières-sur-Marne from 1991 to 2008, in the jazz-rock band 'Traces D'Illusions' since 2006, and in the jazz trio/quartet/quintet '@.Swing' since 2011.
