Frame is Davide Mastropaolo and Leandro Sorrentino: the project was born in 2001, during the composition of "L'inverno", the soundtrack for a movie directed by Nina Di Majo (also presented at the 56th edition of Berlin Film Festival). Frame is mainly a project that conceives the soundtrack as a own genre, that proposes an original way of working and that chooses as main expressive way the electronic music as multilevel manipulation of synthetic and acoustic sources, from real to artificial sounds. Frame music is near more to a sound concept than to music tout-court.
