François-Xavier Roth and the LSO present a second Panufnik Legacies CD, featuring works by composers participating in the Panufnik Composers Scheme from 2011 through to 2013. The disc opens with Panufnik Variations, a sequence based on a theme from Andrzej Panufnik's 'Universal Player', orchestrated by the Scheme's director Colin Matthews, with variations contributed both by Matthews and also nine further alumni of the scheme.
