Italian poet and composer of Neapolitan songs (Naples, March 12, 1880 - † 1952, U.S.), also film importer and owner of the Impero Theatre, Brooklyn. Since the age of 14 reveals his artistic talent composing poems and verses. While attending the Conservatory to graduate in piano works in cafes accompanying his friend Enrico Caruso. He decides, as the great tenor, groped the luck in America. During the trip in steamship writes poetry and music of Lassanno Napule (Napule Te Wave). Father of lyricist Italia Pennino, wife of the composer, flutist and conductor Carmine Coppola and, of course, grandfather of director and producer Francis Ford Coppola.
