A.k.a. Francisco Fellove Valdés
Francisco Fellove Valdez was born on October 7 in Havana, Cuba. Composer and singer nationalized Mexican, is contemporary of personalities of the world of Cuban music as El Niño Rivera, Tito Puente, Chico O'Farrill, Celia Cruz, Olga Guillot and Omara Portuondo, among others. As soon as he was 17 years old, he composed Mango, I handled it, and Fellove recalls: "That was the number that people liked the most, well, I was inspired by an experience of my native land. In Cuba there was a wave that the fruit sellers had their cart and they came out with mango, papaya, pineapple and they preached "the manguero arrived ..." and I had a guitar and I started to talk and when I saw that guy proclaiming, It occurred to me to say "mango, mango, mango, mango, mango, mango" ah, I'm leaving here! And I started writing and grabbing the wave and the number came out; then, the first one that recorded it was Miguelito Valdés and then Celia Cruz, Pacheco did it a little later, and several artists in Europe, as well as many people in different countries, also made their own versions ".
