French percussionnist and pianist, also accordeon and trumpet player. Franck is the son of Marc Steckar. Franck studied piano, drums and percussion at the National Conservatoire of Paris, and won an award for excellence. From 1984, he played percussion in various classical and contemporary ensembles, and piano and drums in many Jazz bands. Between 1985 and 2013, he took part in all kinds of performances ranging from the duo to the biggest fanfare in the world (2600 musicians on the same stage!). Franck Steckar leads a career as a musician and composer arranger. He composes for various bands, from Jazz to pop, from the Sax Quintet to the Big Band, from the String Quartet to the Symphony Orchestra, and has made several recordings, including 7 albums with Juliette (4). He has played with Nino Ferrer, Gilbert Lafaille, Laurent Malot, Juliette, Lio, Helena Noguerra, Twist years, Lion King, Zorro, Mamma Mia, Sister Act ...
