Record company executive, producer, and actor born February 25, 1936 in Johannesburg. During his stint with Atlantic Records while in London, it was he who signed artists like Led Zeppelin and Yes. In 1969 he co-founded the southern rock label Capricorn Records. Mr. Fenter died in Macon, Georgia, USA from a heart attack on July 21, 1983 whilst negotiating a deal for Capricorn Records that had since gone bankrupt.
