“Layers” and “Echo II” composed between 1979-1980. “Improvisation IV” composed in 1982. Recordings were made possible by a research grant from Rampano College, and taped at the State University of New York at Stony Brook on January 11, 1984. “Etudes for Two Pianos” in the version recorded on this LP date from 1957 and published by Universal Edition. The recording was taped in the Recital Hall of the State University of New York at Stony Brook in January 1983.
