A.k.a. Frank Parker
American drummer, born August 18, 1919 in New Orleans; died January 24, 2001 in New Orleans. He lived in the West Coast in two occasions, first in the 1940s, and then from 1959 to 1970. He stopped performing after suffering a stroke in 1990. He played with Kid Clayton (until 1941), Horace Henderson, Fats Domino, Ray Charles, Wallace Davenport, Thomas Jefferson (2), George "Kid Sheik" Cola and Dr. Michael White. He also played with his wife, pianist and singer La Vergne Smith (1975–9).
