A.k.a. Frank Valentine Van der Stucken
b.: October 15, 1858 (Fredericksburg, Texas, U.S.) d.: August 16, 1929 (Hamburg, Germany) American (with Belgian roots) librettist, composer, conductor and translator. He was a good friend of Edvard Grieg and translated some of his songs. He's also known to have founded the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra in 1895.
