Frans Wauters (°15/02/1922 - +1999) is an exceptionally creative native of Aalst; both as artist, actor, Director and songwriter he already has many merits. His political commitment in all its artistic expression is clearly perceptible. Frans is an authentic native of Aalst who above all loves his city Aalst. As former Chairman of the municipal party Committee and as an active member of the Corum Alustum Imperiale and the many services our festivals, Draeckenieren, he proved already. Frans Wauters (°15/02/1922 - +1999) is een uitzonderlijk creatieve Aalstenaar ; zowel als tekenaar, toneelspeler, regisseur en tekstschrijver heeft hij reeds vele verdiensten. In al zijn kunstuitingen is zijn politiek engagement duidelijk voelbaar. Frans is een authentieke Aalstenaar die boven alles zijn geboortestad Aalst liefheeft. Als ex-voorzitter van het stedelijk feestcomité en als actief lid van het Corum Alustum Imperiale en de Draeckenieren bewees hij onze carnavalstad reeds vele diensten.
