Jazz, R&B/Soul, Pop and Soundtrack (Soundtrack, Soul-Jazz, Easy Listening)
In 1968, François de Roubaix has the idea of writing a song based on the main theme he has just written for the movie La Grande Lessive by Jean Pierre Mocky. Unfortunately he has no time to do it… Several decades later his archives reveal some titles he had been thinking of. Among them is Et si on invitait James Dean? (What if we invited James Dean?) In 2007, Juliette Paquereau, is inspired by this enigmatic question and writes a duet she records with Fred Pallem, who is also the arranger of this piece. The dream of de Roubaix finally comes into being. From the first idea to the outcome, the Earth has turned thirty times around the sun. (Stéphane Lerouge) Limited edition to 132 copies
