Musician / Composer of Latin, Spoken Word, Children's Music, Folk and World
French saxophonist and composer. Trained at the Beaux Arts and at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, Fred Costa chose the music and began playing saxophone at the age of 24. He was a member of the group Loupideloupe, and collaborated with the choreographer Odile Duboc, the visual artist Daniel Buren and the storyteller Muriel Bloch. He then formed with Alexandre Meyer and Frédéric Minière the trio Les Trois 8 with which he composed many stage music (for Robert Cantarella, Michel Deutsch....). Today he is particularly interested in the space setting of the music, and working with the sound engineer / musician Samuel Pajand on the improvisation duo Complexité Faible and is performing in concert. In parallel, he he still composing music for stage acts like dance and theater.
