To compose the album, Frédéric Galliano came as a resident artist at the HI hotel, designed by Matali Crasset. Its inspiration came from the different atmospheres he felt in every room and concepts as well as the communal areas. Every area of the hotel corresponds to a special feeling that was translated into music. This album is composed of 9 tracks corresponding to the 9 concepts and 3 tracks for the communal areas of the hotel such as the happy bar, or the restaurant. "Hi!H" was launched in March 2008 after 2 years of work. Frédéric Galliano celebrated the launch by playing at the HI hotel’s happy bar on May 9th 2008 -
