The trademark for this Danish guitarist unquestionably is the use of ground breaking scientific structures. Søegaard has been working with a custom made MIDI fractal converter since 1997, applying Mandelbrot fractal structures directly to his guitar improvisations in real time. He has recorded various solo albums and recorded as The Søegaard Ensemble. He has also collaborated with Steve Parry in Hwyl Nofio and released a duo album with Steve Parry as Parry/Søegaard entitled 'Off The Map'.
