Christopher Laroche, a.k.a. Freedom, was born and raised in Haiti . He founded Freedom Recordz in 2003 and has been working tirelessly on production with Konvict Music, Xyion Inc ,Snoop Dogg, Macy Gray, Stacey Dash, Lil Kim, Spragga Benz, Sway from MTV, DJ Muggs of the Soul Assassins and Cypress Hill and many more. Freedom’s debut album "1804: Liberation" was released in 2004 in Haiti's native tongue “Kreyol”. While giving back to the community with his captivating conscious music, he has also been a physical presence in his country, helping people and educating its youth in every way he can. Using the power of Freedom Recordz, to support, educate, and constructively work towards a positive change in Haiti and other third world nations. His contributions to documentaries, independent films, and charities have helped instil a progressive and positive outlook on the future of this impoverished nation. Through his music, Freedom continues to aid Haiti in their constant struggle, working towards the peace and unity of his nation. He is truly an inspirational artist.
