Band, 1987-1998 FR
Electronic and Rock
It is under the provocative name of French Bastards that Richard Gauthier and Jean-Robert Bisaillon give birth to the group around 1987 in Montreal. Techno rhythms or hectic rock support urban poetry of two friends. The single "Je M'en Souviens" becomes an immediate hit on the radio right out in 1990. They quickly gain a reputation of a worth seeing show, which lead them to Les Francofolies de La Rochelle in 1992. The group disbanded on 1998-01-31. Some compilations mistakenly add a dot to the band name.
