Fridolin Tschudi

Fridolin Tschudi (born June 11, 1912 in Zurich, † January 5, 1966 in Klosters / Canton Graubünden) was a Swiss writer. Fridolin Tschudi worked as a freelance journalist after studying law and political science. In addition, he wrote humorous, occasionally moderately critical poems in conventional rhyming form. He was best known for the poems that appeared from 1944 to 1966 on the front page of the newspaper Die Weltwoche. He also wrote texts for German and Swiss cabarets. His versification to the comic series Ringgi and Zofi by illustrator Hugo Laubi, for whom he verses the volumes 1 to 18, gained greater fame. He found his last resting place in the cemetery Fluntern. His tomb was lifted.
