In January 1996, the composer and musician Friedemann Benner, known by many TV title and series music, was commissioned to musically accompany the 15-part Vox-TV series "Around the Red Sea". A special goal was to create modern rhythmic music for underwater shots and cross-country trips, which stands out clearly from the previous forms. It was always necessary to integrate Arab elements and ethnic instruments in contemporary arrangements. It is this music managed the respective consequences imprint their unmistakable stamp.
