Album US 2007 on Ono Records label
World (Pacific)
This CD seems to be a Hawaiian version of similar CD's where the lullabies recorded have a common theme. This one is common lullabies performed Hawaiian style with nothing but slack key or steel guitar accompaniment, along with three traditional Hawaiian songs. Two of the songs are originals written by producer John Tsukano. A "Kalani" is credited as playing the slack key and steel guitars, but no further information on who that person may be. The booklet also has brief stories on how to listen/interpret the music, along with a list of girls and boys names translated to Hawaiian. "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" is credited to Mozart as songwriter but not as the arranger, or to the person who actually wrote the words, Jane Taylor.
