A.k.a. Frisco Jass Band
Band formed in 1917 by trombonist Buster Johnson, violinist and dancer Marco Woolf, saxophonist Rudy Wiedoeft , pianist Arnold Johnson, and a banjo and a drummer. The band became popular and as a result recorded dozens of phonograph recordings between May and August 1917 for Edison.
