Rock (Indie Rock, Alternative Rock)
Kermitose is the second in a series of instrumental-with-vocal tributes by the Funboy Five to noted characters of Hemel Hempstead, particularly those who emerged onto the local social/music/pub scene in the 1970s and whose idiosyncratic manner made them enduringly well-known figures throughout the town. In this exceptional case, however, the lore of Kermit (aka 'Deadly Doug' to followers of Wealdstone FC) spread well beyond Hemel Hempstead and reached as far as being mentioned on the first Rezillos album. We could say a lot more but won't because, firstly, the tune (and the cover) is self-explanatory; secondly, he's still alive and might sue. P.S. I didn't write this. lyrics There he goes, Kermitose Where he goes, no-one knows
