Funkmeister G - himself (aka Graham J Halliday) : acoustic guitar , synths , beats , computer soundz & mumbled vocals on track 2, the original, remixed for trax 1 & 3. orig vox, guitar (pluged), etc for 4/5 & new lead vocals on 5. (original vox for #6). lead vox 7 & 8 . Other random instruments all throughout. T.K. Bollinger: lead vocals on traxx 1-3, remix production for #3. Responsible for original idea behind the song when FMG insisted on playing the 1st Funkadelic album twice when his then band The Stinking Badger of Java played The Iron Duke. Bumscuzz (DJ Urinal Cake) [depending on mood, time of day etc]: beats , computer programming & remix production on all tracks except #2. Extra rap damage on track 7. co-wrote lyrics for 7 & 8 The Farnz (Farnz Cordeaux) : Appears vocally for a moment on track 4 & harmonica action supreme on #8. May also contain traces of Frankie Death & also Will Wallace from the original versions of tracks 4-6. all art (?) by bumscuzz (front collage) G & FK (Disc) Thanks: Vokabz, Frankie Death, Will, TKB, Karen Ingram, Justin Credible, Spod, Lucas Abela, Keegan O'Shea, Glen Anderson, Torrez, other friends, family, co-workers, artistically inspiring folk in general, & those who hear w/ open ears. Bio blurb/basic info: This will be the 1st professionally mass-produced (x500 initial pressing) for FMG after some lo-fi, limited edition 7"s , cd-r's & tapes. I'm 23 years old, born in Northern Ireland, lived in Sydney mostly. Founder of Chunky Yet Funky zine. We played this years Big Day Out (2003) @ 11:30am to a confused and disorientated crowd. Previous gigs, sometimes solo or W/ whoever's around @ the time occurred sparsely in odd underground locations. Now is the time to rise up, sell out if the opportunity arises under the right conditions or keep on keepin' on/goin' off/ whatever. Obviously some of what I do on record is impossible live so it's a bit more minimal guitary action w/covers & jamming due to lack of actual songs. Bulbous Confusion is not a real label but something I tack on my product. These are being manufactured by the nifty tough & bitchen folk @ Dual Plover family businesses. We will play wherever we're invited if it suits. I'm available for dates too. I forget what I was trying to say here... Funkmeister G, 2003.
