Australian hip hop producer and bassist, Funkwig needs no introduction, he is the producer for Social Change and is the musical mastermind behind the Butterthief label. Funkwig has previously released Fat Pockets "Butterthief Phat Tape", the Social Change "V.High.E.P", single "REAL", the Social Change "Double Banger" promo CD, as well as his own production album "Worship The Grit". Funkwig has production credits on many Australian artists releases including the likes of Taylor Made Tactix, Dialect & Despair, A-Love, Hilltop Hoods, Delta, Lazy Grey, Brothers Stoney, Mnemonic Ascent, Party Starters, Quro, and the Resin Dogs. Funkwig takes the stage with an MPC or a complete live band, where he plays drums or bass guitar. Having performed for years, sharing stages with more Australian and international artists than you could count, Funkwig has become a name synonymous with Australian Hip Hop music and heavy funky production.
