Fury N Grace are one of Italy's most interesting metal realities of the last few years, although the band has been steadily going for about 20 years. Their unique combination of progressive metal approach, extreme metal attitude and schizophrenic, death-haunted lyrics is hailed as one of the most innovative and interesting musical offers of the Italian metal scene. "A Dream-Letter to the Witches of Western Europe", their new album and third part of what appears to be a loose, demented trilogy, finds the band reaching their creative peak of weirdness and intensity, taking their vision a step farther toward dementia and venom. Filled to the brim with the bizarre imagery of the lyrics, instrumental intricacies, menacing atmospheres and doomy vibes, the album, which features a stunning new singer with bluesy depth and potency, Franco Campanella (Spanking Hour), is a strong and uncompromising musical statement, an enigmatic and ominous gem.
