A.k.a. Gösta Natanael Bäckelin
Swedish operatic tenor, born Vänersborg, Feb 10, 1903, died Stockholm, Oct 20, 1988. Engagement in the choir at the Kungliga Operan (Royal Swedish Opera) in Stockholm 1931-1937, concert debut in 1940. He recorded seven popular music titles for Columbia, but also partook in a recording of Beethoven's ninth symphony directed by Furtwängler and had a minor part in Ingmar Bergman's Trollflöjten movie 1975.
